Laser Marking Workstations

A marking source on its own is an open Class 4 laser. Housed in one of these stations — interlocked door, viewing window rated for the wavelength, certified safety circuit — the installation becomes Class 1: it can sit on a normal factory floor and be operated without protective eyewear or a controlled laser area. That is usually the difference between a workable installation and a compliance problem.

Which station you need follows the part, not the laser: any of the markers fits any of these. A compact bench station suits small components in modest volumes; a larger one takes heavy parts and motorised axes; a rotary indexing table lets an operator load and unload while marking continues; and a robot-equipped cell marks several faces of a component in one cycle.
