Robotic bending for large parts
RBS 80 is the heavy end of the platform: a fully automated cell with the robot on a guided rail so it can serve a long press brake and reach input and output stations along its length. Parts run to 3050 x 1250 mm and 80 kg. Automatic gripper change means a cell can work through a batch of dissimilar parts without an operator, and Easy-Form® Laser compensates in-process for the material variation that otherwise shows up as scrap on long bends.
