Removal of slag from both sides in one operation
Overview
The SBM-M D2 takes slag off plasma and thermally cut plate mechanically, both faces in one pass, on material from 5 mm up to 120 mm thick. Deslagging mechanically avoids the time and tooling cost of grinding it off by hand, and doing both sides at once removes the need to turn plate that is often too heavy to handle twice. An innovative tool and feed system copes with heavy burrs and uneven surfaces without losing machining quality.
The D2 is SMART-GRINDING approved and can be linked into an existing line, so it does not have to sit as an island operation between cutting and fabrication.
