Universal laser automation for laser cutting machines
With the portal robotics solution LaserFLEX from Remmert for the automatic loading and unloading of laser cutting systems, the maximum productivity of laser cutting processes is fully utilized. LaserFLEX can be used universally for almost all laser types from different manufacturers and can be flexibly adapted to individual requirements.

- Station – Pickup Table: For unloading LaserFLEX with finished parts. Supports exchangeable pallets and ergonomic sorting.
- Station – Pickup Trolley: For removing cut sheets using a simple trolley. Equipped with safety and light barrier for pallet changes.
- Station – Double Trolley: Enables simultaneous loading and unloading of laser-cut sheets to minimise downtime.
- Station – Hand Trolley: Manual handling of finished parts, can be freely moved when unlatched. Light barrier detects pallet changes.
- Station – LoopFLEX: Conveyor belt station for cut sheets. Can operate in automatic or manual mode.
- Station – AGV Handover: Transfers system pallets between the Remmert AGV and stationary storage or automation systems.
- Remote Connector: IoT box providing a secure internet connection for remote maintenance.
- Portal Bridge: Two-level loading and unloading unit with supports and cavities for cable installation and future expansion.
- Unloading Unit: Equipped with rakes and dynamic height recognition for material-friendly sheet handling.
- Loading Unit: Separates single sheets from a stack and delivers them to processing machines; vacuum suction with double sheet recognition.
- Transfer Conveyor (above): Standardised transfer for raw sheet metal pallets with contour and height checks.
- Transfer Conveyor (below): Buffers finished sheet pallets; monitors sheet placement and maximum load height.
- Exchangeable Pallet: Used on trolleys and storage positions for sorting cut parts or reloading raw sheets.
- LaserFLEX Cross: Two automation units operate across one or more lasers on two levels; new sheets are loaded with a suction matrix, and cut sheets removed with rakes.
- LaserFLEX Line: Automates up to two lasers in a line; optional automatic sorting and sheet metal storage towers can be added for maximum storage in minimal space.
- Loading Unit for Thin Sheets: Handles sheets from 0.25–8 mm without deformation; includes stack receiving device and double sheet recognition.
- Single Vacuum Control: Allows handling of individual sheet areas after cutting, offering process-specific advantages.
- Softtouch Finger: Protects sensitive surfaces during removal; belt drive deposits sheets gently to prevent damage.
- Order Picking Bridge for Sheet Metal: Fully automated sheet picking; forms pyramids or alternates protective plates via SMART control; compatible with all Remmert storage systems.
