Laser welding station for automated production

The AL-Q is ALPHA LASER's closed welding station for production work — the machine you move to when laser welding stops being a repair process and becomes a manufacturing one. Four power levels from 150 W to 600 W cover everything from fine assembly through to structural seam welding, and the WINLaser 5 control makes repeatable, programmed welding accessible without a dedicated programmer.

Built for repeatable, programmed welding

Manual laser welding is fast for one-offs, but it depends on the operator repeating themselves perfectly. Once a part is running in volume, that becomes the limiting factor. The AL-Q closes that gap: welds are programmed once, stored, and run identically every time, with the operator loading and unloading rather than steering the beam.

It remains a genuinely flexible machine rather than a single-purpose cell. Fixtures can be changed over quickly, programs are recalled from the control, and the same station will run a short prototype batch in the morning and a production job in the afternoon.

Choosing a power level

Power determines how deep the machine can weld in a single pass and how quickly it gets through a seam. The AL-Q 150 suits fine assembly and thin-section work; the 300 and 450 cover the bulk of general tool, mould and sheet-metal welding; the 600 is the choice where weld depth or cycle time is the binding constraint.
