LVD Launches New Easy-Cell Bending Automation

LVD is excited to introduce its new robotic bending cell, a highly flexible bending automation solution designed for a wide range of parts. This innovative system, along with the electric-drive Dyna-Press Pro press brake and the new CADMAN®-Flow software, will be showcased at TechniShow in Hall 7, Stand D056. LVD’s press brakes and bending cells, powered by their fully re-engineered benchmark bending software, enhance ease, precision, and productivity for job shops and OEMs alike.

Flexible Scope
The new Easy-Cell 80/25 combines an Easy-Form 80-ton press brake with a Kuka industrial robot, capable of handling parts ranging from 100 x 100 mm to 1600 x 1200 mm and weighing up to 25 kg. The press brake features a 2500 mm bend length, a five-axis backgauge, and a 2500 mm crowning table, offering versatility for a broad range of bending applications. Easy-Cell provides high flexibility to produce a wide variety of parts with the precision of an integrated adaptive bending system, ensuring bend angle accuracy from the first part. The LVD CADMAN software enables fast and simple offline programming of both the press brake and the robot.

Precise Part Production
At TechniShow, the Dyna-Press Pro will demonstrate LVD’s Easy-Form® Laser, an optional feature that offers adaptive bending with repeatable accuracy from the first bend. The Easy-Form Laser transmits real-time data to the CNC control, which processes the information and immediately adjusts the punch position to achieve the correct angle, automatically compensating for material variations such as sheet thickness, strain hardening, and grain direction. This ensures a seamless bending process without interrupting production or losing any production time.
